No racing for me this weekend. I have been feeling a bit toasted and needed a little time off. It's not an ideal time, but if I'm going to make it another 6 weeks it's now or never. Iceman is coming up with the big money, but USGP and cross nationals is the focus, you have to pick and choose sometimes.
Last night was the WORS banquet, I think last time I was there was in 2002. It was fun to stand on the top again after 8 years. It's been a good season and I'd be satisfied if it ended now but there are still 2 USGP weekends and Nationals so I'm trying to keep my motivation up for a few more weeks.
Thanks to Don and WORS for a great mountain bike season - we are lucky to have quality racing like WORS all summer long.
