Not Getting Soft

I remember looking at the weather last week thinking it was going to be OK for riding this week. Today was "partly sunny". In reality it was snowing and the flags were straight out, it was brutal. Luckily, I had the second half of the Swedish national team to ride with for a few of the hours which really helped with the motivation.
I usually try and drink at least a bottle an hour when it's warm out, when it's cold it's more like a bottle every two hours. Today, it was 1/2 a bottle for 4 hours - ouch! My Cytomax turned into grape slushy before I could down anymore, I'll probably pay the price on tomorrows ride.
I'm not quite sure if I dig the wood fenders. I know I don't dig the bar tape.
5 more days of base riding left. I hope the sun comes out tomorrow!

Tristan that bar tape is sweet! Must be Matter's bike hu? Sorry to hear about the weather, we have had a lot of wind here but have not yet seen snow. Training camp in Eau Claire has been good so far but not a Boulder trip and certainly no change of dancing with married women.
