First things first, day number 15 of no sun...or...another way to put it is, we haven't seen the sun this year yet!
Did the saturday morning ride today for the first time in a long time and it's such a blast. I think there were 22 today that took 1/2 hour to suit up and ride the beach. Too many things to see on a ride like this but I got a couple good shots.
Occasionally we run into these little river crossings and they aren't frozen over. Someone usually gets a foot wet by the end of the day but as Dano explains here " the rip current isn't that strong in lake Michigan so the chance of getting pulled out to sea in case of a crash is minimal." Eventually someone works up the courage and speed to hit the 6" of water full speed and everyone is forced to follow, holding their feet up by the handlebars to keep from getting wet.
There's no yellow line rule on this highway!
Wait'n for some straglers
Although the mullet is illegal in 49 states, Spiro takes a stand and flys the flag high for the Kentucky waterfall, canadian passport, or 10/90 at breakfast this morning.
Unfortunately, the Mullet police caught up with him in Terry Andrea state park and banned him from ever riding the beach again due to landowners complaints.
