A New look for the new year

I'm still too cheap to pay for an actual website so I thought I would try and make this one look a little better. I basically went into the template html coding and put in my own colors for everything. Needless to say since I know basically nothing of html coding and websites this took awhile and isn't very pro but I think it looks a little better than orange.

I've found it's harder to find anything blog worthy on a cycling blog when the season is over. I've taken the last few weeks completely off since nationals and am now starting to feel fat and lazy so I might have to start doing something again.
I did get out XC skiing with Brian Schaning for almost two hours today which felt pretty good. It's amazing how fast the ski form comes back after 10 months off, not perfect, but almost there again. The snow was getting pretty soft by the time we left but the trails were actually in pretty good shape. I forgot my boots and had to drive home 25 minutes to get them which wasn't very fun. It reminded me of when Matter forgot his front wheel after driving 1/2 hour to do a mtn. bike ride in Ohio, not a very good feeling. Almost as bad as the feeling I just got when opening up my credit card bill from the last 4 weeks of cyclocross traveling - yeah, ouch!

That's it

Hey Tristan:

This seems to be the theme of the day, but I'd like to inquire about possibly having you speak about your season and nationals at the WCA cross banquet, but don't have your contact info. Could you drop me a line?

Thanks a ton,

Isn't Brian Schanning one of them TRI freak things now? How did he ever get on snow again.....

Good to here that you two are still hanging out after all these years and that Brain Matter isn't the jealous type.
