Man the weather has been bad here. Last night it was blowing so hard I could barely see my car out on the road and it was about -10 with a 40mph wind blowing the snow sideways. A few years ago I took this picture on the beach where I train sometimes and I think it was similar to that, although I doubt I was riding in -10. I remember not making too far that day and flipped after taking the picture, I thought I was about to die.
I've been doing some wedding/honeymoon planning from the comforts of Google which pretty much means I don't move much. Oh yeah, I did get a little motivated one day and got to the gym with Jamie and did a few light reps to get started, man was that hard. 15 reps into some squats with just the bar and I could barely get back up and I've been sore for 3 days now. I don't even know if it's worth it, I haven't lifted in maybe 3 years, but I don't plan on riding in this weather and the skiing isn't too hot right now either so maybe a little lifting is a good reason to get out and do something besides cookie dunks. I don't want to get too carried away though and get too far away from my cookie stash for too long though so the next lifting session might not be for a few days again until my quads stop hurting like someone whacked em with a baseball bat.
