24

Another year in the books for me. Now I have to remember to properly fill in my race age for the next couple of races. I won't be long and I'll be racing masters with Matter and Swanson!
Jamie took me to a japanese steakhouse last night for dinner and it was really cool. They make the food on a grill in front of you and the chef really gets into it, there's lots of fire too. My camera phone bailed on me though so no pictures of the flaming onion.
Tonight my mom made a really big cookie for me and it was good. Sometimes cake gets old so I decided to change it up this year and go for a really big cookie.

Before eating the cookie, I had to go for a really big ride and it wasn't that fun. When is all this base riding going to be over with? I rode with Schaning yesterday for a couple hours and time went by pretty fast but today I went solo and it was really hard to stay motivated when there's nothing but grey skys and dirty, water filled ditches to look. My brain went numb after awhile and I got lost, ended up here and added an extra 1/2 hour onto my already l0ng ride trying to figure out what direction I was going. Something to do with there not being any sun to use for direction. I'll share some of the cookie if anyone knows where Steinthal is, the last one was too easy I guess, this one should be harder, who knows. Can't use mapquest either.
In Wisconsin-
"Long live long rides" is not a good motto, "try to stay sane on long rides" is more suitable.

Same saying holds true here in Iowa

Why do they put the unincorporated on the town signs? Seems like extra work for the person making the signs. I still need to send your vension jerkey.

Steinthal's out by Kiel towards School Hill. Big Joe actually lives on Steinthal road. Stop your complaining and suck it up! It was in the 90s this weekend down in Austin. Get the skirt out of your derailler!!!

I spent a week in Steinthal one night.

Billy's reference is that I was saying that we all are expecting big things from you in 06!

No pressure.

In Wisconsin all you need is a bar and a gas station to be considered a town.

My kids happened upon your blog, Tristan. They were very surprised to find the Steinthal sign in front of our property. We know where Steinthal is! Is there still any cookie left for us?
