Taking Advice From Mr. Miyagi

I get my motivation from more trainers than just Rocky's.

Wax on...
...wax off
Wax on...
...wax off

Micky Goldmill and Mr. Miyagi had different training styles and so do I this winter. Lately, there have been three different characters that I have been thinking about and debating who's system worked the best. Each character has represented a training style and attitude toward training.
I have been picturing Rocky training outside in the Russian winter, chopping wood and running through waist deep snow while doing situps from the the beams of a barn, while Ivan Drago is inside running his brains out on a track and in a gym. Meanwhile, the karate kid stands on a boat in the lake waxing on and waxing off. I wonder who would win between the three of them? Well, I'm pretty sure Ivan lost so that would just leave the Kid vs. Rocky to determine who's approach was superior. For now I'm going with the Kid and Miyagi and Mic and Rocky can take over when I start pinching tires instead of waxing skis. Wax on, wax off.

hey dude, if you put your brushes down bristle-side-up you don't risk brushing grit into yer skis! and grit in your bases is not pro.

You need to use a horsehair brush after scraping to pull the wax out of your bases. Next, use a nylon brush to polish and remove wax that the horsehair didn't get. Your skis will be faster than Brian's for sure...

Oh, I forgot to tell you to dig deep into your pockets and get some of the LF Swix line wax if you really want to make Matter work.

Right on, except I don't take skiing very serious and since Brian hasn't waxed his skis in 3 years I don't think it will be a problem.
